NoHo

Project: Residence

Located in Los Angeles, CA, Victoria wanted to push the boundaries of her 1-bedroom apartment. The design process started for her during the pandemic and like most renters she initially didn’t know how long she’d be living there. Two and a half years later and after spending so much time indoors, she knew her apartment needed to be a home and an extension of herself filled with Black art, tranquility, and ultimately a place to getaway and relax.

Like most creatives, who have trouble sleeping at night, Victoria tends to get the best sleep when she’s on vacation. So, she pulled inspiration from Tulum to design her bedroom.

She believes every space should tell a story and evoke an emotion, so she designed a space that provided a sense of escapism and relaxation.
